South Wales Business Awards 2016 – The Winners Are

On the 9th September 2016 at the Bear Hotel in Cowbridge, the annual South Wales Business Awards were held. The awards were once again hosted by one of Welsh television and radio’s most popular presenters – Sara Edwards.

 

The awards have been developed and launched by WS Marketing and are proudly in association with Cardiff Now Magazine.

 

Expectations were exceeded in both the number and standard of applications. The judging process was extremely difficult for the independent judging panel. However, the winners are:

 

Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Richard Pring – Wales Interactive

New Start-up of the Year – BeSure Cover Ltd

Retail Business of the Year – Forces Fitness

Tourism & Hospitality Business of the Year – Town & Country Collective

Business Services Business of the Year – BCC IT

Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Dawn Evans – Ajuda Training

Technological & Innovative Business of the Year – Voice Box

Contribution to Welsh Business & Society – Nicky Piper (MBE)

South Wales Business of the Year 2016 – Wales Interactive

 

Founder of the South Wales Business Awards – Wesley Skene said, “Since 2008, the awards have been celebrating excellence in the Welsh business community. 2016 has once again shown that South Wales is the hub of a thriving and successful business community, with many businesses achieving some truly outstanding things.” “2016 will be the tenth South Wales Business Awards and plans are already underway for a spectacular evening.”

£450 was also generously raised from our guests on the night for George Thomas Hospice Care in Cardiff.
